ASIDE15 will take place in Milan, at the Department of Mathematics “Federigo Enriques,” Università degli Studi di Milano (Campus of Città Studi, the precise address will be announced later).

How to reach Milan

There are 3 international airports in Milan: Linate (LIN, 7 km from the city centre), Malpensa (MXP, 45 km from the city centre), and Bergamo (BGY, 50 km from the city centre).

If traveling from Linate: take a metro (Line M4) to Argonne station. The tickets for the metro (which also work for the buses and trams) can be bought directly in the automatic kiosks at the metro station, or, to avoid long waits in line, in the application ATM Milano: (iOS, Android) in the form of QR-code (choose the ticket for Mi1-Mi3 zones).

If travelling from Malpensa: take the train (tickets on the Trenitalia website) or the bus to the Milano centrale station (tickets on the Terravision website).

If travelling from Bergamo: take the bus to Milano centrale. Tickets can be purchased on the Terravision website or the Flixbus website.

How to reach Città Studi

From Milano Centrale station, take the tram number 5 to Via B. Angelico Via Colombo or the metro (M2) to Piola station. The tickets can be bought in the aforementioned app ATM Milano (choose the ticket for Mi1-Mi3 zones). Also, paper tickets could be purchased in the automatic kiosks at the metro stations or in the tobacco shops (tabaccherie).

If one travels from Linate airport and arrives at the Argonne station, the Città Studi can be reached by foot in approximately 15 minutes.

If one travels from Garibaldi FS train station, one can take the metro (M2) to Piola.
